Yes, participants contribute a reasonable rent contribution, typically:

  • 25% of your Disability Support Pension
  • 100% of your Commonwealth Rent Assistance The rest is funded through the NDIS as SDA payments to the housing provider.

Yes, depending on the property. SDA homes can be:

  • Shared (2–3 residents with similar needs)
